When you start to realize Nagisa’s and Tomoya’s relationship:

When Nagisa starts crying in the middle of her play and her dad comes in to cheer her up:

Then Nagisa and Tomoya go out:

After Story

Nagisa gets sick again

And Tomoya gets to graduate but Nagisa doesn’t due to her illness

then Tomoya works hard to get Nagisa to live with him

The “fake” graduation get-together for Nagisa

Nagisa and Tomoya get married

Soon after, Nagisa gets pregnant

Then Nagisa gets sick during her pregnancy

And during childbirth, Nagisa dies.

Then Tomoya narrates how depressed he’s been for the last 5 years

But then you realize that he ignored his daughter, Ushio since she was born

So you start getting angry with him

but Tomoya apologizes to Ushio and she cries in his arms

Next thing you know, Ushio inherited Nagisa’s illness and she gets sick

Then on the way to another trip, Ushio dies in Tomoya’s arms

Then Tomoya calls to Nagisa and runs to her

And you realize that the illusionary girl and the Garbage doll are really Tomoya and Ushio

Next thing you know, Tomoya is back to where Nagisa was giving birth

and they have their happy ending

but in the end, you’re left feeling like
